Project has idea to teach youth workers new methods for support unemployed deaf youth to learn to use photography possibilities for employment/entrepreneurship.
Aim of the project is to improve and increase entrepreneurship of deaf youth using non-formal learning methods regarding commercial stock photography.
Activity 1: Training Course - Novi Sad / Serbia
8.3.2019.-16.3.2019. / 5 participants per country
During the learning sessions of the Training Course, the participants will share good practices, and they will also learn about new ideas regarding entrepreneurship of deaf youth through use of non-formal learning methods and commercial stock photography. By working with their visual sense, deaf youth will overcome barriers they have with hearing. Participants will discuss, sharing ideas and making plans about how to record Video manual for deaf, in each country, about this theme.
Activity 2: Participants initiatives
120 days
In each sign language of our partners we will make a tutorial and Video manual for stock photography – for deaf youth, to help them to get ideas and methods for entrepreneurship. Our organizational team will help and guide all participants during this activity. We will provide DSLR cameras and software licence for every country and additional necessary support for this process. Deaf youth have to be included in this activity. Participants that participated in Activity 1 have to share that knowledge in local communities.
Activity 3: Evaluation meeting - Romania
15.1.2020.-19.1.2020. / 5 participants per country
On Evaluation meeting participants will evaluate and discuss the effect of Activity 1 and Activity 2 and present Video manuals made in each country. Number of 5 participants per country including minimum 1 deaf person (that was involve in Activity 2) and 1 person who knows sign language of own country. We will also discuss about future ideas and collaboration.

Host organization:
The host organization is Association of artists – experts of drama, fine arts, applied arts, music and theory, management of culture and art. It is non profit organization based in Novi Sad, Serbia. Through art “Art Mreza” (Art Network) works on positive promotion and education of values and creative thinking audience, which is mainly youth. We are promoting intercultural dialogue through art and culture.
Target group:
People actively involved in work with unemployed and/or deaf young people (youth workers, youth leaders, play workers, NGO activists, school teachers, educators, social workers, volunteers and artists). Participants must be over 18 years old.
Working language:
English – all participants must be able to actively communicate using English language
Funding:
100% for accommodation will be covered and travel cost (maximum amount per country you can find at pages of each Activity)
NO participation fee
